First Love:

Why do you listen to me?
Why are you always there for me?
I have never done anything for you.
That’s not true. You gave me my first kiss.
You were my first love. That will always be special to me.
You will always have that special place in my heart.
No matter what the future holds.
Even if our lives take different paths.
No one can ever replace our first love.
First love, in so many ways, our first love, sets the path for all of our future relationships.
The way we are treated by our first love becomes a basis for which we set out our standards for future loves and relationships.
If our first love relationship is one of romance, special moments, and a deep commitment, we look for the same type of treatment in our future relationships, in our future loves.
If on the other hand, our first love relationship is lacking romance and commitment, we do not have a special feeling on which she based future relationships.
If we are made to feel special during our first love relationship.
If we are made to feel we are important and have that special someone we can trust to be honest with, no matter what.
We need those same things in any future relationship, even marriage.
Whether we realize it or not, not only do we need these things, but we look for the same in our relationships. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
When people talk about first loves, they usually mention their first sexual experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is not what you mean by first love. Sadly, if first love means a sexual relationship, not a deeply emotional relationship, it sets the path for all future relationships, even carries over into marriage.
When our first love has a deep emotional basis, our future loves and relationships are the same. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If we are blessed to have a reunion of our first love, then we are complete.
