The first topic I chose was MY son.
I focused on both the first 4 years and again on age 11 to present time.
The most ideas seemed to come to me when I was writing about age 11 to present time, possibly because those years are fresher in my memory, or perhaps they are the “calmer” years.
I’m most attracted and interested in the first four years, as that was such a time of learning for both my son and myself. Those years would come to define how I, as a mother, reacted and accepted who my son was and would be. Those years would also be “teaching” years for me, how I reacted to this time in his life, would make a big difference in how he grew up, and who he will, and has become.
